Sing along with thankful Theo as he sings about what he is grateful for.

Story Description

Sing along with this Speakaboos original song about the things that make thankful Theo grateful.

He wakes up in the morning, and the first thing he’s grateful for is his dog’s friendship as he runs up to him to play!

And so starts his day of being thankful.

He’s grateful for the librarian that encourages him to read and makes him laugh, and for his family that loves him and spends time with him.

When Theo’s grateful, he says, “Thank you!

” What are you grateful for?

Full Story Text

I wake up in the morning.

My dog runs up to me.

So we play together cheerfully, and he keeps me company.

I am happy that he’s my friend.

I feel grateful, and when I’m grateful, I say, “Thank you.”

So I tell him that I am grateful for the friendship he shows to me.

When I am grateful, I say, “Thank you,” and I say it gratefully.

After lunch we go outside for a trip to the library.

I get a book about monsters and the librarian roars at me.

So I roar back and we both laugh.

I like to laugh.

When I’m grateful, I say, “Thank you.”

So I tell her that I am grateful for the way that she laughs with me.

When I’m grateful, I say, “Thank you,” and I say it gratefully.

At night I help cook dinner. I wash the vegetables.

And I set the table for my family.

I love being in our home.

Then we all sit down to eat.

I feel grateful, and when I’m grateful, I say, “Thank you.”

So let’s say “Thanks.” when we are grateful.

I’ll thank you and you’ll thank me.

When we’re grateful, let’s say, “Thank you,” and we’ll say it gratefully.

What are you grateful for?
