Everyone knows that one of the best parts of being a kid is that you’re pretty much guaranteed a birthday party every year. But while it may be tons of fun for the birthday kiddo, planning and executing the party can be a real headache for mom and dad! It can be stressful and time-consuming to plan the bash from start to finish, not to mention expensive. That’s where we come in: We found 30 places in Los Angeles to host your child’s next birthday. From set-up and clean-up to entertainment, décor, and food, these venues take care of all the little details, so you can enjoy the party as much as your guests! For gamers and techies

Includes: Two hour private party, two event coordinators, set-up/clean-up, and all paper goods and supplies—plus, lots of singing! Toddler parties include games, songs and a separate area with toys and puzzles, while a designated DJ is on hand for teen parties.

Notes: Food and drinks must be purchased through the venue, and each package includes a $100 credit towards the purchase of food from their extensive menu.

Notes: Host is responsible for all food, drinks, decorations, and paper goods. Make sure kiddos dress comfortably, as they’ll be doing a lot of physical activity!

9. Moonlight Rollerway

Where: 5110 San Fernando Rd, Glendale, CA

When: Public session party times are available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons, Saturday mornings, and Sunday evenings. Private parties can be booked Monday to Thursday in two-hour increments until 7pm; Fridays before 3pm or from 6-8pm; Saturdays from 5-8pm; and Sundays from 11am-1pm or 5-7pm.

Cost: Public session parties start at $185 for up to 10 skaters, each additional skater is $18.50. Private parties are $850 for up to 50 guests, and $17 for each extra guest.

Includes: Public session parties include admission to the rink, reserved tables, ice cream and one pitcher of your drink of choice, paper goods, and an announcement for the birthday guest of honor. Private parties include the use of the entire rink, admission and skate rental, and a full staff.

Includes: Basic packages include exclusive use of the studio for two hours, one aerialist specialist, one or two assistants, set-up and clean-up, and decorative balloons. For indoor fun

14. Rockin’ Kids Burbank

When: Semi-private parties can be booked Monday to Thursday from 10am-6pm, and Friday from 10am-3:30pm. Private parties are held Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, and in two-hour increments on weekends, starting at 10am.

Cost: Weekday Open Play party packages start at $199 for 10 children. Weekday Basic private party packages start at $350, Deluxe packages start at $450, and Super Deluxe packages start at $750. Weekend Basic packages start at $475, Deluxe start at $595, and Super Deluxe start at $975. Deluxe parties accommodate up to 15 children, and Super Deluxe parties can accommodate up to 25 children.

Includes: Open play parties include two hours of play, a party coordinator to help with set-up and clean-up, and two reserved eating tables. Cost: Basic packages start at $368 for weekday and $459 for weekend parties; Super packages start at $468 for weekday and $559 for weekend parties; Over the Top packages start at $564 for weekday and $655 for weekend parties. 22 kids max for all parties.

Includes: Basic parties include 2½ hours of private play in your choice of arena, all paper goods, set-up and clean-up, party coordinator, one free crown or tiara for the birthday kiddo, and electronic invitations and thank you cards. Notes: The Ultimate Arena (indoor slide, obstacle course and more) is suitable for kids ages six and up, while the Village Arena with smaller play structure is better for younger children. The Coop Classic also includes paper goods, balloons, and pizza and juice. The Coop Theme comes with gift bags and décor in the theme of your choosing. The Whole Coop and Caboodle includes everything, plus adult food, customized cupcakes, additional drink options, fruit platter, hand decorated cups and drink dispensers, and fresh flowers.

Notes: Coop offers lots of add-ons for an additional fee, like a coffee bar, face painting, entertainers, and a professional photographer to document the party. There’s also a location in Woodland Hills.

Includes: The Simple & Chic party includes two hours of private play time, two party helpers, pizza and juice, cake cutting ceremony, and free return pass for birthday child. The Chickaboom Bash and Ultimate Extravaganza include pizza, drinks, paper goods and décor, and face painting. Includes: Two hours in the private facility, customized invitations, two trained chefs to help with the preparation and cooking of the food, paper chef hat for each guest, all paper goods.

Notes: The kids prepare and cook their own food during the party, but outside food can be brought in for adults at no extra cost (host is responsible for all paper goods and utensils for adults). Parties can be customized with add-ons like goody bags and cupcake decorating, for an additional cost.

25. Duff’s Cake Mix

Included: Each guest receives their own baking and decorating kit, and each party includes access to tools, aprons, gloves, and guidance from the staff. Parties also include a celebration cake to cut and serve, one drink per guest, dedicated tables for gifts, and balloons. The guest of honor also gets to take home a Duff’s apron!

Notes: Cake and frosting flavors need to be decided on when booking your party. You’re also welcome to bring in your own decorations, but are responsible for putting them up and taking them down when you’re party is over.

For outdoor fun

26. Waterslide Pool Party at Vasa Park

When: Saturday and Sunday, party must conclude before sundown

Cost: $35 per person for participating guests, minimum 20 participating guests. $15 per person for non-participating guests.

Includes: Exclusive use of the 274’ water slide and surrounding pool, patio, restrooms, and changing rooms for 2.5 hours, covered seating area, pool toys, event manager, slide attendant, and two lifeguards, all food and drinks.

Notes: Menu can be substituted or customized for an additional fee. There is a $75 food set-up fee, which includes utensils, plates, grill person, and service staff.

Includes: All parties include shaded picnic tables, a wagon ride for guests, unlimited activity wristbands for all guests, feed for the animals, tokens to drive the electric tractors, a commemorative group photo, and a party hostess to help with set-up and clean-up.

Notes: Pizza is available to order at an additional cost, or you can bring your own food and drinks at no additional cost.

28. LA Zoo

When: Weekdays and weekends from 10:30am-12:30pm or 1:30-3:30pm

Cost: Party space rentals start at $150 for 2 hours and up to 40 people. Zoo admission is required, and is an additional cost per person. Group discounts are available and zoo membership privileges apply.

Includes: The use of the space for 2 hours, including tables and chairs. You are responsible for all set-up and clean-up, decorating, and coordination of activities. Food can be purchased through the zoo’s catering facility, or you can bring your own, but the zoo doesn’t provide means to transport any supplies or food storage. Activities and entertainment provided by the zoo are available for an additional cost.

29. Discovery Cube Los Angeles
