Includes: Varies a lot based on location. Basics will include anywhere from 12 to 20 kids, full use of the facilities, party specialists, free classes for the guests and basic decorations. Add-ons like pizza, themed paper goods and a bounce house are available. An added bonus for low-key families? You can book a Mobile Party through select My Gym franchises, where staff bring fun and equipment to a location of your choice for a significantly lower price.

Includes: The weekday party package ($99) includes a table reservation for up to 5 kids and 10 adults, pizza, unlimited play time and a helium balloon bouquet. There are several levels of parties from there, ranging from $199 for 10 kids on a weekday, to just over $1,000 for 45 kids on a weekend with all the extras. We love the wide range of options (not everyone wants to go big for b-day #1), the ease of online booking and the dedicated tot play space. All party packages require a purchase minimum from the party menu, which can be drinks or food for the adults in your group.

First birthday partygoers will especially enjoy the 0-to-15 inch depth water playground for toddlers (though keep in mind the pool remains open to the public). Renting any of the Miami-area park event spaces is one of the most popular first birthday choices as it’s affordable, customizable and totally okay if your tyke has a meltdown. Includes: A two-hour private party for up to 20 kids, staff assistance, 15 hanging balloons, paper goods, a class pass for all guests and special gift for the birthday child. You can bring your own food and drinks to keep in the designated area. The play equipment here is designed specifically for kids ages four and under, so no one older is allowed to play on it, meaning less worry over your little one’s safety. Don’t forget socks!
