The Best Kids’ Spas in Houston, Texas

by | Jan 2, 2018 | Mommy Nearest

With more school work and activities than we ever had in our day, kids today are busy. So why not treat them to a little pampering every now and then? These local Houston salons and spas offer treatments for kids and teens that aren’t only fun and relaxing, but may even teach them a thing or two about taking better care of their skin, hair or nails.

Milk & Honey Spa, River Oaks

Where: 2800 Kirby Dr, Houston, TX

This upscale, well-designed River Oaks spa is a super peaceful place to treat you and your little to a first spa experience. Milk + Honey’s policy is to have one adult present for every child, so keep in mind when making your appointments. M + H also offers haircuts, if you’re looking to get a new ‘do together.

Kids’ services: Manicure, pedicure and polish change are available for children ages five and up. Facials are available for teens ages 12 to 17.

Gossip & Co. Nail Spa, Cypress

Where: 12603 Louetta Rd, Cypress, TX

The largest nail salon in Houston will excite kids from the get-go, with an indoor bridge over a koi pond. With space for 200 people, it’s unlikely you and your mini will be a bother to anyone here. There’s a devoted “kiddie corner” with princess-themed spa chairs, plus a bar where you can stand to get your nails done (and drink—yes, it’s that kind of bar), and an entire man cave for dad.

Kids’ services: Princess Pedicure ($22) and a mani/pedi combo ($32) for ages 10 and under. Littles get a scented salt soak, lotion massage and two simple flower designs. You can choose from all the typical powder manicures, gel manicures and so on.

Four Seasons, Downtown

Opt for poolside treatments or some time in the mani/pedi chair with your child at the newly renovated Four Seasons Houston spa. If you have some extra time for R&R, choose massages, body treatments, waxing and facials just for you.

Kids’ services: As part of the poolside spa service menu, kids can opt for the Ice Cream Spa “Treat”ment, where they soak their feet in a chocolate or coconut bath, while enjoying an ice cream treat ($20). Mini manis and pedis are also available.

Paloma Beauty, Upper Kirby

Where: 1700 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX

This is Houston’s first non-toxic salon, so crunchy mamas (or pregnant moms!) will be excited to book treatments here. Choose from a selection of “5-free” nail polishes from brands like Chanel, Dior, Lauren and Deborah Lippmann while lounging in the superbly designed space. They do nail art and private parties as well.

Kids’ services: The Petite ($20 for mani/$25 for pedi) for kids ages 10 and under. You can opt for any number of manicure and pedicure specials, including CND Shellac, or The Paloma—a restorative treatment for tired nails.

Bliss Day Spa, Rice Military

Where: 701 Shepherd Dr, Houston, TX

This luxe day spa offers mom the option to sip wine, champagne, mimosas and cosmos while she gets her treatment. Don’t worry they have Capri-Sun and water for kiddos. Grown ups can choose from a large selection of massages (including prenatal!), facials, manicures and pedicures, but manis/pedis are the only services offered for the pint-sized crew.

Kids’ services: Little Diva mani/pedi ($35 for both!) for kids 13 and under includes a rose petal bath, massage with vanilla shimmer lotion (no cuticle cutting or callus treatment!) plus polish and nail art.

Cloud9 Foot Spa, West U

Where: 2511 W Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX

This California export arrived in West U with a strong emphasis on family wellness! Reflexology foot massages, hand and arm massages plus full body Swedish, hot stone and deep-tissue massages are guaranteed to relieve tension and stress, especially great if you’re an active family.

Kids’ services: The best thing is that the massages here are open to younger kids!
